Where did you grow up?
I was born in Colorado (Go Broncos, sorry Chris). I moved to Phoenix when I was 3 and have lived here ever since. I grew up playing soccer and baseball, as a kid and through high school so crossfit seemed like a great way to find that long lost athlete again.

What are your hobbies (besides CrossFit)?
I enjoy spending time with friends and family. Our neighborhood is a great area full of families that come outside talk and sit while the kids play. I also enjoy watching football and playing fantasy football.

What is your occupation?
I am working as a Business Analyst for Western International University. I also am going to school with this university so it works out pretty well.

How were you first introduced to CrossFit?
I was given the “Golden Ticket” in April 2017 by B-Money. While outside talking on many occasions Brent would not stop talking about crossfit and how much I would like it. I thought he was crazy but turns out he couldn’t have been more right, the kool aid tastes good.

What is your favorite WOD/movement?
My favorite WOD was today’s (10/25/2017) Holleyman, not because of the Wall Balls, Push Ups, or Power Cleans but because of the 5am crew/Chris. I was struggling at the end and Chris and some of the other 5 amers were there pushing me to keep moving and finish under the time cap. The “no man left behind” mentality is something that I love about crossfit.

What is your least favorite WOD/movement?
There is a tie, Double Unders and Pull ups, they are at the top because I can not do them yet.

What CrossFit accomplishment are you most proud of?
Being able to complete or not complete but not giving up till the whistle blows, is something that I am proud of with crossfit. If I was at a gym on my own I would not have that accountability of letting my partner down or the coaches that are helping me and I would probably not push as hard.

What is your favorite song to WOD to
I have to say T-Pain, Apple Bottom Jeans. This seems to play every time we are doing wall balls or thrusters and when the line “shawty got low low low low low low” makes me laugh everytime.

What would you like to accomplish next through CrossFit?
I would like to get the Double Unders and Pull Ups down while also getting my cardio and strength up.

Fill in the blank: I love…. I eat…. I will… I am…
I love…my amazing wife and 3 beautiful girls.
I eat….way too much pizza
I will…always listen to the coaches and do my best at each WOD/movement
I am…grateful that I have become a part of the Blade community.
