How were you first introduced to CrossFit?
In 2010 I just finished my 5th Ironman and was looking for something different. I heard about CrossFit and wanted to give it a try. It was a 7 min workout. I thought that was pretty funny. 7 minutes what kind of workout is this? I couldn’t lift my arms the next day. Been hooked ever since.
What is your favorite WOD/movement?
Murph is my favorite. It is also the only WOD I do not know or keep track of my time. To me that WOD is for something bigger than me. I love watching people complete it for the first time. Murph makes you realize you are stronger than you thought you were, you never stop because of all the men and women that gave the ultimate sacrifice.
What is your least favorite WOD/movement?
Burpees, that was an easy one.
What CrossFit accomplishment are you most proud of?
Watching Cory Allen (my son) compete at the CrossFit Regionals
What is your favorite song to WOD to
Don’t have one. Once the timer starts, I never hear the music.
What would you like to accomplish next through CrossFit?
Inspire people to be better in life. Physically, Mentally, just overall better. And of course someday make it to the CrossFit Games.
