Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Stanwood , Washington. It was a town of 1200 people when I lived there.

What are your hobbies (besides CrossFit)?
Spending time with family, grandchildren, travel and go to our cabin in Munds Park. Aah, the retired life

What is your occupation?
I’m retired from working as a nurse for over 40 years.

How were you first introduced to CrossFit?
We were introduced to Crossfit from my daughter and her husband (Arne and Larissa Bech). They encouraged my husband and me for over a year before we decided to try it. I tried it first, and went for 3 months before Grant came. Who says you can’t try to get fit in your 60s??

What is your favorite WOD/movement?
The warmups (haha) I guess if I were to pick one , I would say burpees . I’m so slow at them, but I know how good they are for me .

What is your least favorite WOD/movement?
Least favorite movement would be any overhead movement combined with a squat. Snatches and overhead squat. I don’t have the mobility , so I have to power snatch .

What CrossFit accomplishment are you most proud of?
My air squat has improved. When I first started, it was pretty bad.

What is your favorite song to WOD to?
I like any peppy music. Most of the time, I don’t have a clue who is singing , I just like the noise.

What would you like to accomplish next through CrossFit?
I really want to get at least 1 toes to bar.That will be a while though.
