Where did you grow up?
I was born in Sonora Mexico raised here in Phoenix Arizona raised by a single mother that made so many mistakes but we choose to do right despise all the wrong we have seen.

What are your hobbies (besides CrossFit)?
Pretty much anything that gives me a challenge and allows me to bring my 2 dogs LOL!

What is your occupation?
I’m a caregiver, work with quadriplegic, been doing that for quite a while, and love it. I love the challenge that gives me the interaction with people, pretty much hands on job I love the feeling of being useful in helping others is what drives me.

How were you first introduced to CrossFit?
My sister and I started looking into getting fit because our mom was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and I just couldn’t see ourselves, especially me poking myself every day with a needle. I knew if we didn’t do anything we were going to end up in the same situation. My sister and I started looking into gyms and we found CrossFit, totally fell in love with the sport, been loving it since then. We started in a different gym but I wanted more of the real CrossFit so started looking into different CrossFit gyms and found Blade and I am so thankful we did.

What is your favorite WOD/movement?
Pretty much all the Olympic lifting, I love even though I’m not that great at it, but I sure do try my best.

What is your least favorite WOD/movement?
Oh that’s easy, any cardio. LOL

What CrossFit accomplishment are you most proud of?
Wow this is big because this year after doing CrossFit for two years I finally got 3 pull ups so that is huge to me.

What is your favorite song to WOD to?
I don’t have a favorite song but as long as it keeps me going through a hard workout I’m good. Especially when you’re on your last 20 Burpees and you think you can’t do one more Burpee and a good song comes along, that’s what helps me push through.

What would you like to accomplish next through CrossFit?
Wow! I have a lot. I wish I could accomplish everything there is but for now if I can get butterfly pull-ups this year, get better at running and be able to do strict push-ups at least 20 that will be great.

I love…. I eat…. I will… I am…
I love God, my family and friends especially my family in the Blade community, country music and most of all my two cute tiny little dogs.
I will eat anything that has bacon pretty much, I choose to eat better for most part.
I will continue to push myself to my limits, to stay positive and continue to get Bladestrong with the help of my amazing and wonderful coaches and the support of a wonderful Blade family. always & forever Bladestrong!!!
