Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Tempe Arizona, but I was born in Michigan!
What are your hobbies (besides CrossFit)?
I love hiking, mountain biking and road biking! I have truly traveled more places on my road bike than I have in a car!
What is your occupation?
I am a retired middle school (5-8 grade) Principal. I left education and started my LLC, so I could work from home and care for my mother, who was terminally ill with lung cancer.
How were you first introduced to CrossFit?
We moved into the area and we were looking for a gym. I had seen the Blade Crossfit sign out on the street when I went into Mountainside. I did not like the vibe inside Mountainside and tried several times to catch someone at Blade before I finally went at the right time and talked to Terra for the first time! I went home very excited to tell Jen about my free trial and she said she wanted to go to! the rest is history!!
What is your favorite WOD/movement?
My favorite WOD is anything with rowing involved, and I love to back squat!
What is your least favorite WOD/movement?

What CrossFit accomplishment are you most proud of?
When I first started crossfit I could barely overhead squat 21lbs…my current OHS is 92 lbs!!!

80’s music!! or Anthony has a pretty good playlist that keeps you moving!
What would you like to accomplish next through CrossFit?
Efficient DU’s and HSPU’s! I have goals for my olympic moves, but, slow and steady wins the race!
