Where did you grow up?
I grew up in “Green Country” Northeast Oklahoma with trees, grass, ticks, mosquitoes, and dirt roads.
What are your hobbies (besides CrossFit)?
Haha I seriously do not have any other hobbies besides Crossfit.
What is your occupation?
I do home daycare in my home part time.
How were you first introduced to CrossFit?
A man and wife in our church in Oklahoma did it on their own out of the gym at the hospital they worked at. My first workout with them, in the middle of the workout, I went to the bathroom and threw up, and went back out and finished it. It was terrible and I loved it.
What is your favorite WOD/movement?
Anything with a barbell.
What is your least favorite WOD/movement?
Most body weight movements! But I can say that after 5 weeks of this food challenge I don’t hate pushups anymore! That would have been my least favorite. If I had to pick one right now it would be wall balls.
What CrossFit accomplishment are you most proud of?
Oh there are so many things I’ve done that I never thought my body could do. I’m mostly proud I have stuck with it for almost 5 years. It’s the longest I’ve continuously exercised since I graduated high school. Which was about 20 years ago!!
What is your favorite song to WOD to?
Fallout Boy Radio on Pandora. It’s PR music!!
What would you like to accomplish next through CrossFit?
I would really love to be able to do RX Handstand Pushups! That’s on the goal board for 2015.
